Before vs After KPX email security

Without managed email security, inboxes fill with spam and phishing. With KPX, threats are filtered out before they reach your team.

1

Threats in your inbox

Spam, phishing and ransomware reach employee inboxes unchecked. One click is enough and the damage is done.

2

Filter prepended

Mail traffic is routed through our multi-layered security stack before it reaches your server or M365 tenant.

3

Sandbox analysis

Suspicious attachments and links are analysed in isolated environments. New, unknown threats are detected in real time.

4

Clean inbox & reporting

Only verified mail reaches your team. Reports show repelled threats, quarantine activity and risk trends at a glance.

Do you know your email risks today?

Email is the most successful attack vector — and the most underestimated. 90% of all cyberattacks start via email. Without proper protection, you are leaving the easiest door open.

Frequently asked questions about Managed Email Security

What is the difference between a spam filter and email security?

A simple spam filter sorts out unwanted emails. Managed Email Security goes much further: it protects against targeted phishing attacks, ransomware in attachments, fake sender addresses (CEO fraud) and compromised links. Spam is annoying — phishing can seriously damage your business.

Does it also work with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?

Yes. Our Managed Email Security can be seamlessly connected before Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) and Google Workspace. The email traffic is routed through our security infrastructure before it reaches your mailbox.

What happens if my email server fails?

Thanks to email continuity, incoming emails are cached. Via an emergency web interface, you and your employees can continue reading and answering emails — even if your own server is unavailable.

What is CEO fraud and how do you protect against it?

In CEO fraud, attackers pose as CEO or supervisors and ask employees to make transfers or disclose credentials. Our solution recognizes fake sender addresses and display name spoofing and automatically blocks these emails.

What are phishing simulations?

We send controlled, harmless phishing emails to your employees — without their knowledge. Anyone who falls for it immediately receives a short learning unit. This trains security awareness in everyday life, without the need for elaborate training courses.

How fast is the setup?

The technical setup usually takes less than one working day. We configure the DNS entries (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), test the mail flow and activate the protection — without interrupting your ongoing operations.

Can I see which threats have been repelled?

Yes. You regularly receive reports with an overview of all repelled threats, quarantine activities and the security status of your employees. Also available as a monthly management report on request.

What does Managed Email Security cost?

The costs depend on the number of mailboxes and the chosen protection scope. For most SMBs, we recommend the extended protection including awareness training. Contact us — we will create a transparent offer for you.

How do you protect against phishing emails that bypass spam filters?

Our multi-layered approach combines DMARC/SPF/DKIM enforcement, header analysis, URL sandboxing and attachment detonation. Emails that look legitimate but carry malicious intent are caught by our behavioural analysis engine — even when they pass the spam filter.

Do we get reporting on blocked or quarantined emails?

Yes. You receive a weekly summary of all blocked and quarantined emails, with sender, subject, and reason. Monthly management reports aggregate threat trends and provide recommendations. Real-time alerts are sent for high-severity events.
